Black and White Damask recipe album with Plum purple trim

We are barely into March and bridal showers are in full swing!  I've been very fortunate to provide recipe cards, albums and invitations for so many lovely brides-to-be this year. I think one of my favorite parts is seeing the color pallets emerge! Though Pantone wants you to believe that Honeysuckle is the color of the year, It is the plethora of purples that are popular this year. From lovely lavenders, orchids to rich deep Plum, Purple is gorgeous!

Another emerging combination is Blue and Orange. With colors such as Teal and coral, Peach and Tiffany blue,  Aqua and Papaya, you can't help but love the way the orange pops with the blue!

After a very very busy summer, I thought I'd show off a few projects I did this summer!
First, we have the bike basket liners! Such cute liners for some really really awesome people!
This was a super cute bike liner I personalized with a monogram on the pocket! I love the blue with  damask!

I've deliberated making one of these for awhile, and Although Its no where near finished, I think it will turn out pretty  cute! another thing I might have to start offering!
I'm going to have to update this as it progresses, I've just found some cherry paper for the inside. OMG too cute!

I whipped up some new lunch bags this weekend, and have a little ribbon work to do on a few wine totes. (I desperately need a new camera, I cannot seem to get a decent picture!(

I have this wonderful client who is teaching her daughter how to cook. She's using my recipe cards and album to start her off. They are going to fill in the cards and then use the space next to the recipe slot in the album to tell about the first time making the recipe together. I thought this was the sweetest idea! I totally love it! I thought I might offer Mommy and Me packages in my shop. Recipe albums and cards, with matching (or contrasting aprons) So as I sat on the phone for 2 hours with HP printer tech support, (which BTW is so much better now for the tech than it was when I worked for HP) I cut out and put together most of this apron during the call, between reboots and clicks. Talk about multitasking! I have a cute apron, a crick in my neck and I can print again! woot!

Busy Busy! Between slaving away in the sweat shop and my personal life, I've neglected my little blog here! So.. Updating!
New Snack sacks, New Wine totes and New lunch bags as well as new line of recipe cards are all up or will soon be up on my etsy and artfire sites! I'm still trying out new patterns and designs and I think my new favorite is definitely the pirate snack sack.
Packing the Monkey's lunch this morning I couldn't refrain from a little Pirate lingo, "Ahoy Matey! Would ye like a dab of mustard or mayo me hearty? Arr! Arrr! Talk like a pirate day is coming up September 19th so I have plenty of time to practice!
